Low Fat & Low Calorie Diet Plan

Weight loss , in the context of medicine or health, is a reduction of body weight, typically due to catabolism of stored reserves inside the body. Limited short-term weight loss may be caused by the loss of water from the body; however, the typical reason for weight loss is that the human body is losing more chemical energy in work and heat than it is gaining from food. The body then uses its stored reserves of chemical energy, such as fat, to make up the deficit. The byproducts of using these reserves then leave the body, reducing body weight. This process may be triggered by the reduction of the Caloric content of the diet, an increase in physical activity, the immune system fighting off a disease, or other causes.

Put simply, the removal of excess fat is by a reversal of the bodily processes which store excess energy, if an individual burns more energy than he or she is consuming, the extra energy stored in the body will be removed to be broken down for physical activity. So you might have understood now that exercising after having a great meal does not mean that you are loosing weight ,it just means you are burning calories and too may sometimes differ in context to weightloss.

Thus the best way to loose weight is reducing the percentage of fat content in your daily eating regime. Instead of eating the forbidden piece of candy, brush your teeth. If you're about to cheat, allow yourself a treat, then eat only half a bite and throw the other half away. When hunger hits, wait 10 minutes before eating and see if it passes. Set attainable goals. Don't say, "I want to lose 50 pounds." Say, "I want to lose 5 pounds a month." Get enough sleep but not too much. Try to avoid sugar. Highly sweetened foods tend to make you crave more. When you are on a low fat diet, you also cut on the taste and spices in the food. Add the flavor back with herbs and spices. Strong flavors such as vinegar, garlic, chili powder, cayenne, curry powder, rosemary and tarragon can be used to replenish the taste of food you are eating. Staying on your fat free or low fat diet will be easier and your weight loss will get speeded up.

Some alternatives to oily cooking technique are to steam, boil, bake, or microwave vegetables rather than frying. Use season vegetables with herbs and spices instead of fatty sauces, butter or margarine. Try flavored vinegars or lemon juice on salads or use smaller servings of oil-based or low-fat salad dressings. Try whole-grain flours to enhance flavors of baked goods made with less fat and fewer or no cholesterol-containing ingredients. These are some of the alternatives that you can follow in place having fatty oils in your food.
