Fighting Mal-habits

So why do some people become obese whereas others don’t? A lot of answers have been put through for this question; some suggest genetic factors others activities or nature of the person whereas many of them straight away point out the difference in their food consumption. But what is the single largest factor behind this, well no one can be certain but none can rule out the eating mal-practices as one of the leading factor behind obesity. As we grow our eating habits grow with us and hence we can’t leave behind the dieting or eating disorders that we pick up in our childhood or other wise.

Firstly we discuss some common eating practices that result in deviation from our intended diet. The diets generally considered healthy sometimes seem hard to implement so we of binging today and beginning a healthy start tomorrow but actually this tomorrow never seems to come. So first of all occasional binging is all right but anything over it adds to your calorie meter and sends days of dieting down the drain. Many time we crave for sweetened snacks or fatty foods, these cravings cause a lot of disbalance on your calorific chart, so instead of having such food stuff have healthier alternatives like fruits and calorie free snacks whose recipe you will find in our site.

Another prominent eating problem is excessive dieting, these cases are particularly common with teems and college goers. These people go into excessive dieting and in the name of dieting cut down on their food consumption drastically. Such drastic cuts prohibit the body from getting the required nutrients and finally result in diseases which in extreme cases become fatal in nature. Too such eating disorders are Bulimia and anorexia.

Other than this one common problem especially among office goers is consumption of excess caffeine. Caffeine is consumed for its mild stimulating action and results in change in heart rate and blood pressure. Also it increases the amount of water you lose through urination and this goes on increasing as you consume more and more caffeine ina short amount of time. The average standard set by medical agencies is 250 – 350 milligrams of caffeine per day as safe. This means anything more than three cups starts affecting your physical health.

These and many more eating mal-practices do considerable harm to your body and slowly harm your physical health which in turn affects your mental health and finally affect your quality of living. So stay aware of your diet practices and avoid excess of any foodstuff. Happy dieting!
