This page addresses the age old problem of vacation fattening. And no it doesn’t tell you the ways to lose that extra weight around your waist but instead how not to put them to start with. Since precaution is better than cure so why not eat in such a way that you do not gain any weight in the first place. Lets start out with the eating out. Although its is best to cook you own food wherever possible but since it is impossible de to time and vacationing constraints, so several tips can be very useful. Firstly while packing for snacksto be consumed on the way try and pack nutritious snacks instead of chips and candies instead of these pack some healthier or home made snacks and dips with lesser fats. Also other than this you can take along water and fruit juices instead of colas and fizzy drinks. Firstly because there’s no better thirst quencher than water and secondly because colas etc. have caffeine which acts as a diuretic and finally results in kids taking more frequent toilet breaks.

Also to avoid eating too much at the drive by restaurants and other restaurants is to take frequent food breaks so as not to get extremely hunger at the same time. Also understand that to make their food tastier these restaurants have to use oils, flavorings and high calorie food materials which adds more calorie than home cooked food. So make sure to keep your hunger levels are normal by not overexerting yourself since such over exertion results in people getting hungrier and quickly consuming more food than what is actually required. But there are many factors while vacationing which will help you to keep the flab off such as the large amount of activities that are done and also the fatigue generated while traveling.

Also other the vacations spent traveling many of them are spent staying at places or at homes. In such cases it is essential not to take a break a from the healthy diet pattern set at ome. This can be helped by teaching your children and yourself to limit yourself while eating delicious food for example take only a few pieces of sandwiches or pies and not polish off the whole platters of them.
