Physical Environment issues with Physical Health.

The physical environment of our workplace has tremendous effect on our physical fitness and health especially since we are spending an increasingly larger time of our life in it. The atmosphere at the workplace creates a mental reflection of itself which manifests in our behavior or response to our surrounding. For example a dull environment makes us sleepy and reduces our working efficiency. Also many of us have to deal with problems like migraine and asthma which may get triggered by various elements present in our office environment. Another problem faced by many is the high level of disturbing noises around our workplace. Such disturbances and distraction like strong smells of chemicals or perfumes trigger headaches and migraine attacks which seriously harm your physical well being. To avoid all this, communicate clearly with your employer about such issues and try and suggest relevant and feasible solution to your employer. Another important thing is to take good care of your workspace to make sure it is clean and clutter free. A clean desk goes a long way to reduce stress. For more information on desk solutions look into workstation and computer peripheral tab.

Work environment has a deep impact on our mental wellbeing and fitness just like the environment at our house has. Any one can imagine that being in a clean well lit and well ventilated area removes many problems and creates a less stressful atmosphere to work in. Stress free productivity has been a major issue faced by the human resource departments worldwide but every individual must work towards it as well. Rather than handling stress it is better to create a schedule and work environment which is devoid of such factors which make the work environment tense or disturbing. So how does one recognize these factors?

To recognize these factors which affect our mental well-being and fitness we need to make notes of various changes that we experience for example many people feel relieved on leaving certain areas of the office while others feel some particular areas give them comfort and relief. Such things must be noted and any special feature of the area that you remember that makes you feel that way should also be mentioned, for example in some areas in your office you may feel stuffy which may be an indication of poor ventilation or the presence of some pollutant. Once work environment-deteorating factors diagnosed talk to relevant authority or your colleagues to work out a working solution. At the end remember that your work place is your second home take care of it in similar fashion.
